I was looking for something simple & elegant... thank you Aphrodite for taking care of me.. what a beautiful name for a beautiful woman who epitomises wonderful Parisian service.
Closing the shop for a little while... my lonely cat will stay lonely until i find some time to sew a companion for it.
Schoolwork is piling up & many things are going on at the moment. Problems, responsibilities, realities; we all have our fair share of these don't we.

Spending a rainy afternoon in a café serving one of the best coffees in Paris // finding the perfect shirt for spring & summer // making purses for my friends & seeing them smile
Have a beautiful weekend x
My favorite thing to do on a cold day..
keep my feet warm with the softest linen slippers from Muji & read my book with no interruptions.
when we are too lazy to cook on a weekend, we love eating Asian take-out. My favorites are the Thai fried rice & lemongrass chicken kebab. Comfort food to me is always Asian. :)
Packing my purses into pretty packages...
Ready for the post office...!
have a great weekend & keep warm xx

Sewing little sets of purses & bags. The little one for coins, the not-so-little one for books & bread. But they kinda belong together dont you think?:)
The beautiful region of Provence is always my inspiration. ♥
Amazing book if u havent already read it. Tolstoy paints such a vivid picture of Russian society at the height of the French invasion, & his depictions of war had me at the edge of my seat. They were SO real u really thought u were there. I have an embarrassing knowledge of wars, so I was surprised that my fave parts of the whole book were actually the battle scenes.
It's been so hot & humid around here... best place to go is the pool to cool down. I love Missoni headbands & their bikinis... plus a good book, we're all set for the rest of summer. xx
PS. Got a date with Harry potter tonight.. cant wait to see how it will all end. :)
& i do love::
a spring picnic with a wonderful view, talking about our dreams & tumbling about on the grass. Sun on our faces, wind in our hair... it was so difficult to get up!
remember this pair of scallop-edged shorts I so love? I could not resist & bought the blazer as well... H&M's conscious collection is ♥.. using recycled polyester from textile waste to make dreamy pieces..
my favorite magazine & purse in a new friendly shape... my own frequent use helps me improve on design & function x
Beurre cru a la baratte bois is the best butter I've ever tasted... freshly churned by hand in Normandy, it is a piece of heaven on warm toast.
I still can't figure out a way to eat this everyday & not become fat or poor. >_< I'm always on a quest to find the best butter *not sure it's such a good idea*
Meanwhile, enjoy spring... the best pleasures in life are often free & around us.

a sleepover at my best friend's this weekend (we haven't done that in forever!), a holiday in 3 weeks' time, & many purses to make.
Keep it simple, keep it good. That's all I ask for.
My favorite corner of my room.
An Italian straw hat from summer, dried flowers & a new handmade bag in cotton & linen.
Made with the softest leather straps, this bag is perfect for papers & documents. On market days, perhaps a baguette too.
Strawberries on one side, & polka dots on the other.
Available in the shop soon.
Off to Sydney tonight, i'll be sewing my tea-time purses & drinking lotsa coffee xxxxxxxxx
Just landed from Milan & was greeted by a wave of purse orders from Australia.
Cos issue 37 of Frankie magazine has hit the newsstands & my purse was featured on page 20!
Looks like i'm gonna bring my sewing kit to Paris tonight & sew up a storm! :)
The printed pic of the purse was a little off-color from the real-life one but that didnt put off the aussie babes from ordering! :)
Happiness is this i think. have a good day everyone! xx

This is a story of a rainy afternoon in Paris.
So happy you didn't forget your little umbrella to protect your freshly baked baguettes from the rain.
Running from the bakery to the neighbourhood cafe... "Bonjour mademoiselle!"
Ah there's nothing like a lovely cup of coffee to chase away the blues.. and before you know it, it is sunny again... the skies a clear blue, your heart a light musical note.

My little shop is work-in-progress... I hope to launch it very soon :)
Hope you are smiling like me xxx
