A beautiful weekend in Paris...
On my way to try the best mojito in Paris.. love the view of Arc de triomphe & the mini-size tourists at the top.
And they can be found at Comptoir de l'Arc.... great for people-watching & just sharing a private moment.
And then to St Germain-des-pres for coffee... we talked into the wee hours of the night.. & i was again surprised by a stack of Asterix comics. The way to my heart is thru the last village not occupied by the Romans!
The next day chilling out at Starbucks with Serene, we are advocates of American coffee - big fattening globs of cream.
And then i'm invited for a housewarming party in the suburbs of Paris. i'm surprised to learn that many Parisians prefer to commute to Paris by train or car & have a country home just 20mins from the city centre.
Free flow of champagne & laughter, i almost forgot i had to work the next day :P
Felt the urge to dress like Coco chanel for a day, marine stripes and all. Perhaps it was the film which left a deep impression on me.
And the perfect pair of suede boots. Love them so much!
Goodbye summer, hello fall.
