Got called up for a flight to taipei over the weekend... it was fun fun fun! We head to Shih-Lin night market for yummy food & cheap shopping... i've always wanted to try the authentic XXL crispy chicken from taiwan ha. the long queue is testament to its popularity!
I've been so curious about ear candling but i still cannot bring myself to give it a try... least of all in front of so many people >_<
We spend hours browsing thru the shops full of taiwanese meimei wanting to make a quick tourist buck. We still fall prey to their persuasion & end up with bags & bags of clothes & shoes.
What comes after eating & shopping? Karaoke of course! We join a taiwanese colleague for some serious singing till the wee hours...
I'm dead beat... can't beat the taiwanese when it comes to karaoke... they are really champions & they take it so seriously! But i had a good time nonetheless... & well fed with juicy nuggets of taiwanese celeb gossip!
