One of the best exhibitions i've seen in Paris is a showcase of Karl lagerfeld's photos in a little museum known as the Maison europeene de la photographie. Lagerfeld is well-known as the head honcho of Chanel (even though I think he is much better when he designs for Fendi), but few know of his talent behind the lens.
Sometimes, when i fall in love with a particular Chanel ad, i'm not surprised to find out that he is in fact the person who shot it. I was very happy to spend a rainy overcast afternoon indoors with his numerous photos of fashion muses, models, actresses, & places in Paris.
