The Christmas spirit descends upon our city mid-November and the recent downpours have added to that end-of-year melancholic joy.
Add the Christmas carols playing everywhere and it gives one the urge to start planning the festivities - dinner parties, office drinks, potlucks, gift exchanges.
I love this time of the year and haven't spent Christmas in Singapore for the past couple years.
