moscow one more time...

Before stepping out in Moscow, i piled on everything in my luggage like a wandering gypsy.
Everyone warned us to stay indoors but it just made me want to go out even more. Heh.

But my feet turned numb within 30mins. I could feel the cold seep in thru my leather boots and the 2 socks i wore. Horrible! I entertained the thought of getting frostbite.

It was no wonder the skating rink was deserted. But nonetheless lovely to look at.

Walls of the Kremlin.

Winter wonderland.

One of my favorite shots.

This too :) for no particular reason except I like the contrast of brick red and white.

How do the guards stand the cold????

Everywhere was eerily quiet. Just some Muscovites going about their business.

Sunset over the Red square.

Moscow train stations are located deep deep deep underground.
And getting around was hard.

Just check out the friendly and helpful signs! We compared letter to letter, then word to word.

I felt like I was in an eerie Soviet espionage film.
Your imagination runs wild after too long in the cold.
